Join Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust at Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club to celebrate the renewed beauty of the Otter Estuary! Visit the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust and Clinton Devon Estate’s ‘Heaths to Sea’ project teams to find out more about the estuary and how its changed over the past year and thoughts of the future…
The Otter Valley Association (OVA) will also be showcasing their ‘Flora & Fauna’ group, discussing all things water quality and Budleigh Salterton Art Club will be holding an art exhibition celebrating the Otter Estuary and its restoration, with opportunities to purchase and support local artist’s work. There will also be opportunities to explore the reserve with the estuary ranger, Rick Lockwood, on a ranger walk, explore the estuary botany with Dr Sam Bridgewater on a botany tour and explore the reserve yourself on a self-guided trail.
Throughout the day, The Holt Bar and Terrace will also be open to treat yourself to some refreshments while admiring the birds eye view of the estuary, so join us for day of otterly beautiful landscapes and the chance to further connect with life on the estuary.
