Forestry in a Heathland Landscape
Managed woodland surrounds much of the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve reaching out into the wider landscape. Plantations made up of conifers and native broadleaved compliment the heathland habitats which together provide for a number of plant and animal species. Join John Wilding, Head of Forestry and Reserves to hear how the Clinton Devon Estates’ 1,900 hectares of woodland deliver biodiversity, recreational and landscape benefits whilst meeting the challenges of producing high quality timber products sustainably.
